Rubicon: War is Our Judge

This game pits two players in a fight over control of the Roman Empire during Caesar's Civil War. One player acts as Caesar and the other as Pompey. Victory can be earned by dominating one of the three regions, controlling all of a location type, or by gaining a majority of victory points after six rounds. 

Each round, players are dealt six cards each and fight to control the five available locations. A big element of the game is controlling which locations can score in a given round - this can lead to a lot of tricky play and interesting moves.
